Horses have always been my passion. Ever since I can think back, I have been fascinated by their beauty, strength and dignity. Born in Africa and migrated to Germany in the late 70’s, we could not afford to buy a horse so I used to clean up the stables and therefore was allowed to ride other peoples horses. I learnt a lot during that time and only in 2005 I finally bought my first own horse.

He was a 3.5 year old PRE (Pura Raza Espagnol – Horse of the pure Spanish race) stallion and the opposite of what I was looking for, which was a big black horse. That didn’t matter as I fell in love with him the second I saw him. This was the beginning of a beautiful journey and a strong relationship between Feriante-Cen 1 and myself; I would even go as far as calling him my soul mate.

4 years ago I left Germany to move to Australia and of course he had to come with me. I flew down to search for the right home for Feriante and myself and selected Boneo Park as for me it fulfils all the needs for horse and rider. We even have our own Riders Physio, in case you have some aches and pains that need treated or if you want to pro-actively improve your riding by addressing your own weaknesses in fitness and core. So here we are, living the dream down under together. Feriante found his new home at beautiful Boneo Park and I am living not far away in Cape Schanck. We are very happy here and have met many special people which have become dear friends.

My first ever breeches I brought at the age of 13 were Pikeur with the traditional ‘leather’ knee patches in black and grey, which I still have!!! I believe in quality as opposed to quantity and decided to bring my favourite German Quality clothing for horses and riders to Victoria.
